"After my husband survived a kidnapping at gunpoint, he bought a revolver and got a license to carry a concealed weapon. I, too, considered purchasing a handgun, but without firearms training, I thought we ran a greater risk from handling and storing weapons around the house or in the car than we did from the bad guys on the streets. So I called Cliff Cargill. Cliff has the heart of a teacher, and every minute of the course---in the classroom or on the shooting range---consisted of top-notch instruction that emphasized SAFETY and RESPONSIBILITY. Although we are old enough to be his parents, Cliff did not teach us a watered-down course for seniors. We did it all---target shooting for speed and accuracy, split-second decision making excercises, firing from vehicles and through doorways, firing on the run---the identical course that he teaches to folks half our age. The course was deadly serious, but really fun! Cliff is passionate about all aspects of gun ownership. He even went handgun shopping with us; my husband bought a semi automatic, and I got my very own .38 special Taurus revolver. Cliff emphasized that the decision to own a firearm should not be made lightly. Once you pull the trigger, even in self defense, the consequences can be grim. Know what you're doing. Cliff taught us that. It's the best money we ever spent!" ~ Susan Colbert

"I recently recieved shooting lessons from Cliff Cargill; aka the "gun guy"! I have owned guns for years and thought I knew something about shooting and proper gun usage and handling. The course under instructor Cargill increased my accuracy and confidence. I liked that gun safety was stressed throughout the course This emphasis on gun safety will train you in the proper usage, handling and transporting of firearms. I encourage anyone who owns a firearm or is thinking of purchasing one, to take lessons from instructor Cargill. The training you'll recieve will allow you to get familiar with the your firearm. This familarity will remove the angst that gun owners who have never been formally trained sometimes feel when handling their weapon. And the removal of that angst could be the difference between life and death if you're ever in a situation where you would have to use your firearm. P.S. If you live in the So if you don't want to be outlined in chalk in the streets of Jackson, do as I did and take shooting lessons from my friend Cliff Cargill -- the "gun guy"!" ~ Kim Wade; WJNT Newstalk 1180 Radio Host
"I bought a semi automatic a couple of years ago
and took a gun training course at a police department approved facility in Cliff taught me how to SAFELY and properly handle
my gun. Now I am confident to handle and shoot my gun; something that I
was not comfortable doing before I took Cliff’s course. I strongly recommend
Cliff’s gun training classes if you want to handle your gun properly and
safely."

"The best way to learn all these techniques is contact Cliff... Learning the safe method of storing a handgun; speaking with your family about the fact of having a gun in the house; and knowing the safe and proper methods of standing/gripping/sighting/firing a handgun, could mean the difference between YOUR life, or death!."
